Totally wrong. We do suckage right, next season, and win the Toilet Bowl...going 0-16. Then, the front office blows up.

Not too long ago, I wrote about a bet I made last year after the draft. I bet a friend that Vanderbilt would win more games than the Titans. After a good laugh, my friend upped the bet to $50 which I took. He sadly paid up. I've already contacted him to see if the same bet will stand up again this year, he hung up on me! I know its early to make a prediction of winning 3 or less games prior to FA and the draft, I'm going on our history. We don't draft good. Years ago, I wanted to build the best and fastest car I could. I got the best chassis, a 1962 AC Cobra. The best body style, a Ferrari Spider. A brute engine, Dodges V10 dual turbo. Funny thing, when I put it all that together, it never worked! Kinda like our OL!!!! I trashed the idea and bought a Shelby Cobra. Turns out, all the parts in the Cobra work in unison. Each part makes the other parts better. You don't want to mess with my Cobra. As for my team, the Titans, they've lost the game before they took the field.

Reference to Josh Fludenheimer, qb of the high school division 1a Frankfurt Bolts. He was brought in as the starter for Indianapolis Colts and beat us in the last game of regular season.

 

lol You guys are a bunch of whiny miserable people. I believe the Titans will improve very much over the next 2 seasons. We have a very young legit QB and many other young players that will naturally improve. I also have no doubt that we will draft better and sign free agents better with Robinson rather than Webster. Was Mularkey my fav choice for HC? No. Do I believe he can do well here? Yes.

 

I'm also upset we didn't wait to kick the tires on McDaniels. I don't get it. But, looking at your data, you have to realize that his HC stops were very short. The reason Buffalo, Jacksonville and Titans needed new head coaches were that they were BAD teams. Mularkey didn't get them turned around overnight, and was fired. It would be more interesting to see those team's records the year before Mularkey to see if he made any improvement.
