Lets face it who would want to play or coach here? You are at great disadvantage in a small market. I watch as a finger brushes the side of a QB helmet for another team and flags fly all over the field, our QB gets picked up and slammed ON HIS HEAD and nothing. It happens in one form or another weekly in this league. This has gone on for years. You dare not say anything or the NFL comes down on you even harder with fines and more calls against you. If you are not a golden boy, and I have no doubts if MM would already be one if in a big market, you get shafted. I think with our same crappy o-line in big market they would look so much better because they could hold a bit more and those hands to the face ect. would be called more often on the other team. MM would have stayed healthy and would have put up great numbers and be touted as ROY and have all the commercials and endorsements that come with it.
I am not sure if the Refs even see how bad it is, they just know if they make a call wrong or affects a game enough that in a large market it will be all over ESPN and their job is on the line. And lets face it those refs make great money and would be a gym teacher or the like making a quarter of their income or less if fired. Small markets and well...... whatever. It is human nature and I see equivalent thing happen in business all the time. I could say I even do it, things that are important to my boss are more important to me then other things that really should be. Would you chance putting you family and life style in trouble by not erring on the side of caution with your calls?
THIS IS WHO WE ARE. If you can't break into being on ESPN daily like some of the other teams and get a bandwagon following you, you stay this way. So I say again would you want to come into an environment to play or coach with this against you. The best of the best will not, even if you say yes what will the other coaches around you be like? What about the level of free agents? This is who we are and THIS IS WHERE WE ARE AT! WE ARE THE TITANS!

I went to almost all the home games last year just to hang out with my friends and casually watch the Titans play the worst football in the NFL. This next season, I'm not wasting 1 penny on going to Nissan Stadium and watch the whole experience again. I'll just invite my friends over to the house or text about how terrible we look. I'm still a Titans fan and always will be but I definitely won't be wasting any of my money or time on the Titans next year.

The biggest problem with this team has been the players they drafted. I was thinking about walking away if Webster was rehired. He's now gone and many people think we couldn't have done better than Robinson. Let's pray for an immediate o line makeover. After that who knows, we need secondary help, inside linebackers, and offensive playmakers. I'm stepping away from the ledge and giving Mularkey a chance.

That is the best case scenario. My fear is that he will not be too bad and could hang on for a few years. Also, given that Wiz was not even given two years will make them gun shy about another coaching change happening quickly.

I warned people when it came to Bud. No one wanted to listen. All people would say was "can't wait for Bud to die."

At least those who like to lose to improve draft position will be happy.

Which is exactly why I'm not even bothering anymore. It is in fact just a game. A game we all get way too worked up over. And for what? If we even had one great season every 5 years, where I felt we could at least make a deep playoff run, that'd be enough for me. But this garbage just isn't even worth my time. They aren't even trying.

We haven't won a playoff game in 13 years.

We haven't even made the playoffs in 8 years.

What keeps the PSL holders coming back year after year for this nonsense is beyond me. Better them than me I guess.

This damn family. I had some issues with some of Bud's decisions but at least there was no denying he loved the team and was doing what he THOUGHT was best for the team and its fans. I'm convinced the Titans are nothing more than another income stream to the rest of the family. We need new ownership in a bad way. IDK if the NFL even really has a legal leg to stand on to force a sale but if they do they need to give it the old college try.

The fans WANT to support this team. But much like a family member who is a hardcore drug addict, the best thing you can do is just cut them off completely and let them hit rock bottom. Hopefully it forces a change.

I hate this argument so much.

Are we as attractive of a job as the Cowboys, Jets, Niners, etc. Of course not. But Nashville is a great city in its own right. There's no state income tax. But most importantly, this is still a NFL market and one of only 32 NFL coaching jobs in the world. It's crazy to act like no good coaches would accept a job here.

That's what is baffling. This is the most attractive we could be. Young qb with amazing potential and a #1 overall draft pick. But we don't even try to hire even McDaniels or coughlin or anybody. Just promote the interim guy that has a terrible record and coaching history. Woooo hooo
