Nice thought, but they already liked Mularkey as a replacement for Whisenhunt before he got canned. They are just cheap SOB's collecting a paycheck. I hope the NFL steps in and forces the Adam's to sell. Mularkey was the Budget Rental prospect and they really don't give a damn about the fanbase

I would have rather kept Wisenhunt than have Mularkey as head coach. How the hell we managè to downgrade is mind boggling to me. A monkey could have decided to put extra blockers on the line to protect Mariota. He'll if AAS had made it clear to Wisenhunt that he needed to protect Mariota better I'm sure he would have did the same thing. Yet Mariota still couldn't finish the season. How the hell this damn organization come to the conclusion that the right move was to hire the guy that got hired by the guy we fired.

    Whiz + Robinson = Mularkey + Robinson and << HC X + Robinson

Whiz pissed off Strunk I guess. No excuse to have not hired Coach X except the Adams family are cheap.

They gambled big time on Poutasi, in the 3rd Rd, and there really wasn't any quality OT's in FA, so both their hands were tied, in this past draft. They needed Poutasi to be able to step up and he didn't.

That probably sunk both of their ships, because without a RT who can hold his own, the team has to keep TE's or FB's in to help, and that in turn really hobbles an offense. Crazy how one player can make or break a franchise. That's not to say there weren't weaknesses elsewhere, but if Poutasi turns out to be solid, then we probably win a handful more games and both Whiz and Ruston are still here.

Mularkey is a band-aid on a sucking chest wound. Ain't gonna get it.

Cause Underwood stupidly thinks Mularkey is somehow OWED a third and 1/2 chance. That's what's outrageous about it all. But this....But, that. But, but, but. If IF's and BUT's were candy and nuts, we'd all have had a Merry Christmas.

Shouldn't have fired the wiz? More like shouldn't have hired the wiz. Just like Murlarkey. Big mistake. Tired of this team and their bad decisions.

Whiz was a box of turd and Mularkey is a bag of turd ; whats the difference ? The only thing is that under Whiz there wouldn't have been anything left of MM going forward.

On the subject of Zimmer , the guys doing the commentary on the "Blair Walsh" play-off game recently made a comment during the broadcast that , IIRC , Zimmer thought he was going to be HC of the Titans but that he never even got an approach. Did anyone else catch that ?

I heard that too during the game, and it me off. That said, we wouldn't have MM8, but we also wouldn't have malarkey so....
