What it would take for me to get excited for the 2016 season post Mularkey hire

    1. Hire a well regarded offensive coordinator.
    2. Sign two free agent offensive linemen well above average.
    3. Trade the first pick and stock up.
    4. Bring in a real running back.


    Then and maybe then........ I can put up with the fact we hired Mularkey. Odds all four happen: very remote.

    1, 2, 3 & 4 is a start, still don't know if that would begin the bring excitement.
    We also need to sign and draft some serious playmakers on both sides of ball and I want a real FN return man

    Hell, I'm just gonna come up with a demand list to send to AAS!

    I'm just looking forward to 2018 when he's fired and we get a real coach. Every day we are 1 day closer to Mularkey getting fired. That's why I'm excited.

    Other things that would excite me...

    A blockbuster draft day trade where we make a huge haul similar to Redskins/Rams RG3 deal.

    Two or more marquee free agent signings like Alshon Jeffery and Alex Mack.


    I have no doubt that the only free agents we sign will be nobodies and the 1st overall pick will be Tunsil. And I think he'll be a good OT, but it just won't get me excited for the 2016 season.

    I guess it will be exciting to be in the race for the 2017 #1 overall pick, I'd say we are already the front runners.
