OK, here's the truth. If we are not going to fire Webster than we may as well keep Mularkey IMO. I do not really want to keep Mularkey; and I would literally do a cart wheel if Webster was fired!! I think Mularkey has made slight & limited improvements; but I do not think he is capable of the type of turn around this team needs. He is a likeable guy, but I honestly do not care if the players like him. If they liked him so much they should of played football for him against the Jets.

My point is this: If Webster stays it will be difficult to get a good HC to come here. Everyone around the league knows that Webster is on a tightrope. He has done a poor job in every aspect of his position IMO. Any good HC is going to want a long term deal with job security. Honestly that is what we need. A good HC & consistency at the HC position. Switching systems as much as we have is rough on players. It also creates a bad working/teamwork culture. Everyone will be looking out for themselves instead of worrying about what is good for the team/teammates. If we lay another goose egg next year; surely Webster will not escape again. When Webster FINALLY is fired; the next GM will have his own way of thinking. Hopefully he is a football guy. He will want his own HC. I cannot think of many HCs that have been forced on GMs and it worked out.

The next HC is going to have his hands full just trying to turn around this offense. I want a new GM & HC before next season. I believe anything else is hurting the team & prolonging the suffering. Changing systems multiple times in a young QBs first few seasons is a sure fire way to hurt his development. We have a great young QB that has shown a lot of promise for the future. Why even consider doing anything that would not benefit his development?? We have been waiting for this QB for YEARS!

I know there is no guarantee that a new HC & GM do a great job. I know that Mularkey MAY actually be able to change the culture of this group and get us back to winning. However, thus far; nothing that I have seen from Webster and ANY HC has made me feel good about the future. Now that we have a QB it is time for us to find the right HC & that starts with a new GM!!

Forget Titans HC. He would be in the running for Messiah at that point.

All he has to do is go 2 and 7, then remind Amy he once coached Matt Ryan.
