Robinson to be named GM

Maybe Robinson will return the favor and almost hire Chip lol

 

If AAS actually made the GM decision based on which one would agree to keep Mularkey... good god. That would be a new level of incompetence.

Why spend all week interviewing candidates, then make the decision based on that? You could eliminate 99% of the field with one simple phone call.

AAS: "Are you willing to keep Mularkey"
Candidate: "Of course not, idiot."
AAS: "OK bye."

I can't let myself believe that's what it has come to. Gonna be hopeful it's either McDaniels, Kelly or literally anyone other than Mularkey.

 

Good...then we can move on to HC and hopefully snuff out all of the Mularkey...

 

Is AAS a closet Texans fan?

 

McDaniels was a total disaster in his first HC job with Denver. He was also a massive douchebag. I'll have no choice but to hope he's grown and matured in his second stint with the Pats, but I have doubts.

Chip was successful in 2 out of 3 seasons with the Eagles. As long as he isn't GM, I think he can coach and do well. Especially with a QB of Mariota's caliber.

 

No Josh mcDaniels till after the Pats finish in the playoffs so it may be a while before we find a coach

This is such a big hire . We need more talent . Whether Mukarkey stays or not this was the thing that needed to happen. We so lack talent in many positions . So glad it was not an in house hire.
