Bold prediction: if we hire robinson, we then hire chip as hc.

Is this just a random combination or is there anything at all to back that up? I know it was a bold prediction, just wondering what the thought process is.

What is these peoples' obsession with keeping on/coddling a proven loser?

Yea that's what I think all the "The sky is falling" people (As some call us) have been concerned about. The guy that agrees to work with the 3 time loser will get the job. Guess we will see; but anyone who did not see this process pointing to Mularkey has been kidding themselves.

This team has NEVER done what is best for the team. They run on their emotions. That is why we have been at the bottom of the AFC South for so long.

I REALLY hope that the new GM is not this much of a puppet. It would be VERY disappointing to get a nice hire like Robinson and see Mularkey as the HC.

Well, he's been the 'front runner' right along.

He will be an emotionally based hire. Not smart, not wise.

Common sense dictates that if this is the case that they simply hire Mularkey rather than wait on that, but make willingness to hire him a litmus test for the GM position.

Robinson sold his career to the devil if he agreed to keep Mularkey so he could have gm in front of his name. He will be a rising star sabotaged by an owner and ceo who wants to keep a yes man on the staff instead of someone who can lead them to victory. He will be crawling back to New England for a scouting job in a few years if this is the case.

What emotion? Is losing an emotion?

I really don't understand what type of emotion they could feel toward the guy.
