Too much speculation to have a shot at being realistic considering we don't have a GM, HC or OC, DC and don't even know if we'll stay a 3-4 D. After this, what we do in free agency will be the biggest factors.

I could see us taking an OT, OG, CB, LB, S, RB, or WR.

Some speculation that Jaylon Smith may have nerve damage. If that's the case, depending on what it is and how extensive it is, it could be career threatening. If it's just an MCL and ACL that simply need to be operated on and he'll lose a year, he's worth the top of the 2nd round. If there is nerve damage, he might not be drafted at all. I hope it's not that bad and he can make a full recovery. A very good LB!!!

...because he'll run into someone, then they'll tackle him before he goes 50 yards.

a concern I have with Derrick Henry vs Zeke Elliott?

Zeke is one of the best blocking RBs I've seen.... And he is more of that impact speed you're looking for when a crease forms in a defensive front four (not to mention his agility is off the charts) ...

Whereas Henry is the kind of RB who just murders linemen, lbs, and SURELY cbs and S.... but where I'm worried, is the transition to the NFL. Where the defensive players come to earn a paycheck (well at least some - #sensabaugh) and that dial back the yards-after-contact Henry is built around. And would ultimately lead to Henrybecoming a predictable, one trick pony running back

I see alot of eddie George in henry. Getting him at 33 would be fine by me.

Report: No nerve damage for Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith - NFL.com

No nerve damage for Smith. A first round talent but could fall to our second due to the possibility of him having a redshirt year in the NFL.

100% agree....give me Mack and Forte in FA along with a RT and then draft defense. If we can't find a solid RT for decent price in FA then I'm fine with Tunsil at #1 and defense the rest of the draft.....of course trade down is what I really want
