It's why I think they need to walk before they run. Due to how nice the weather is year around, There is a ton to do down there and football will not be the domination it is in other markets. The fans also tend to be more front running so the can control how they do by just winning.

I still think that was his hope/plan when he took the job.

Especially if you're a goalie! Equipment costs can be insane plus registration, travel costs, tournaments etc.

What do you base this on? Those fans have been exposed to teams that are similar to what we have seen in Nashville the past few years. They put forward a legitimate offer to build a new stadium (asking for similar support as that given to San Diego and Oakland yesterday ironically)

I have spent a bit of time reading St. Louis reactions in their local paper. Would recommend folks read the efforts that they went through to try to keep the team.

I have attached one of the editorials from the Post Dispatch below, and it is a pretty decent read for those interested in what the opinion of this is in St. Louis. One of the notable comments in this is about potential reasons that Kroenke hired Fisher back in 2012 (already planning this move, or at least that is what is being alleged).

The NFL's actions in this are troubling IMO, and we may have witnessed our future (10-15 years) in this case.

Actually I just posted an editorial that alleges this very thing. According to that author, Fisher was specifically asked multiple questions about the Houston to Nashville transition experience when interviewing for the Rams job back in 2012. Apparently Kroenke had this move in mind back then, according to the editorial anyway.
