You have to have some understanding and/or passion about the game as an owner in order to establish and manage your top executives. The current state of the franchise is a result of ownership and the top execs including Underwood. Until we see some real sign of a new direction, we'd all be foolish to expect anything but the "same ole" from this incompetent group.

Sure- the goal is to let the better qualified execs do the work they are paid to do. But the problem is this franchise has been bad at all levels for years. There simply isn't any unified front. And that is most likely a result of a lack of a solid transitional plan as Buds health diminished. His heirs appear to simply lack the experience and/or passion necessary to recognize/recruit top perfirming executive talent. And the product flows downhill from the top.

Too early to make a decision on her... she has made good ones, thus far, though: canning Whis, getting rid of Webster and making Mariota's protection a priority - we all remember Carr on the Texans...

We'll see where we go from here.

She's been an owner as long as the others. Your decision on her at this point should be the same as your decsion on Tommy Smith. This is baffling to me.

I never formed a full opinion on Smith... he was gone quick.

I'd rather see a full season... and, her being in charge wasn't fully acknowledged until we were into the season.

Personally, I'd like to see how the "owner" does in the off season after we see how the team does in action.

Where do they go from here.

She made the calls that needed to be made when obviously no one else was going to. However, she was involved in making the bad calls to start with. So at this time she is breaking even IMO. If we bring in a new GM allow him to help us find a worthy HC (NOT MULARKEY) then she will be moving in the right direction.....Just my opinion.

People are saying chill out. No big deal.... The truth is that this is a very big deal for this team. We have not been a franchise capable of drawing top tier GM or HC candidates for years, if ever. Now we have a shot at real leadership & change. Everyone has a right to be concerned about the snails pace of the searches & to express that concern. Let's be honest. This team does not have a history of getting it right. If we take our time and get it right then I will be shocked & happy. If we drag our feet and are stuck with Mularkey as a result I think everyone will agree it is a mess.

All of this is riding on the shoulders of people who are not football people. They are making this process look ugly. I don't think fans can help but be concerned.
