Exactly. I feel like the Titans are waiting on some HCs from the playoffs to interview anyway.

The only bad thing about getting behind is that other teams have set up 1st interviews with guys like Jackson. So they will have a chance to schedule 2nd interviews as soon as their seasons end. McDaniels is on a bye and could be interviewed. Haven't heard if he is going to take them in the bye week or not. Have heard that some guys are not going to interview until their seasons are over.

Ya never know about the info that is being put out there really. Rapoport seems to report anything he hears anywhere.....at the starbucks and the old man behind him says, I heard the Browns were bringing in Hue Jackson Sunday....of course it is on Twitter before his coffee is in his hands.

I am still very much on the fence about the HC position. The only thing I know for sure is I do not want Mularkey back. We have been way too bad for way too long for anyone on this staff to be promoted. Especially Mularkey......

Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com says Marc Ross may be more than a Rooney Rule interview. He is expected to be the GM most open to having Mularkey as HC. They worked together in Buffalo when Mularkey was the HC there. Really makes you wonder with him being the 1st guy they interviewed and the snails' pace of the HC search......

I think it is just McCormick making his own inferences. I really hope so anyway. However, if Ross comes out a GM I will expect Mularkey as HC soon after. Especially considering Ross has not been considered a top candidate by any other teams.....he has had several 1st interviews, but no 2nds.

I am gonna stay positive and hope this team is really trying to get better. If so Ross & Mularkey will not be the guys.

So we know 11 of the 14 GM candidates so far and it seems like a pretty solid list. Curious who the other three are. Interesting that the Lions are only interviewing 4 guys and theres no overlap with our candidates.
Definitely seems like the Titans want to get a GM hired by mid week, I appreciate the effort they're making big time.

I seriously doubt Hue Jackson would sign with the Browns after the first interview and before interviewing with anyone else. The only coach that seems to have any steam behind them signing is Gase and I'm not sold on that either.

I'm glad the Titans are doing the GM search right. As long as the decision has been made by Monday or Tuesday at the latest than we should still have a chance to interview all coaches.

All this stuff is just 7 degrees of separation. Everyone one they say is a shoe-in has some other tie they build up to make their guess seem logical. I don't but any of this stuff right now. Reports want to stir up emotion and make you read and or link their articles. I doubt any of these guys truly has any inside info.

Ugh. Ross/Mularkey would make me cringe. As I gain confidence in the owners with each move, this would set them back to zero
