The players seem pleased with Mularkey, or do you think that is fluff?

 

I think 90% of the time you just skip over player comments on coaching and personnel to be honest. Delanie Walker said last year we didn't have to draft a QB LOL

 

What player would ever come out and say "no god don't let Mularky come back"... when there is a possibility that he could return.

 

They won't say that but I think sometimes if you watch interviews, you get a much better sense. When I saw Mett's postgame (after probably being benched in favor of tanney) and he was asked what he though of Mularkey getting another shot, he was like...um...well...(you could sense the wheels spinning in his head of what to say to this)...yeah...

 

Seems like we're interviewing potential GMs before HCs. Looks to me like we want the new GM to be a part of the HC hiring process.

I know Underwood said there would not be a particle order in the GM/HC hiring, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

Probably just a fall-safe so if the GM interviews go horrible we're not stuck waiting around and end up with another Munchak

 

And let's also not forget that probably a good portion of our HC candidates are involved in the playoffs right now. So it makes sense we're not hearing a lot right now. That and the whole no GM thing yet. We are interviewing like crazy so hopefully it gets done early next week.

 

PK was saying today that the players, on and off the record, are still high on Whiz.
