David Cobb

they each have one 19 Carry game in their careers. Cobb had 19 for 73 with a long of 12 and a td. Andrews was 19 for 88 with a long of 38, no tds. Cobbs statline is better in the only comparable game, and had the better game visually, as he wasn't stuffed as much as Andrews. Iirc Andrews had another like 25 yard run that game...meaning his other 17 carries got max 30 yards.

oh yea, and Cobb did this behind a bunch of backups.

 

Depending on who we bring in, could be.

All I've been saying is that his play has earned him that slot.

He did have the most yardage, but I think he got the starts because he was better prepared on blocking assignments. Sankey had a pretty good opening game and was just benched and it was because of his blocking and something else he may have done on a personal level to the coaches or something.

Andrews running was 2 yds, 2 yds, and one medium gain each game, which bumped his avg up a little.

I believe if we get our O-Line in order we will see more production out of Cobb and or Sankey in space.

 

Could be. He has earned the opportunity to try next season.

 

Maybe with some time Cobb can be something...so far he's looked really bad. Andrews has looked like the better back, as bad as that is...

By looks alone, Sankey looked like the best back on the team with his few opportunities. Not sure why he basically got benched after week 2.

 

Omg don't even start with Sankey. That mofo can't hold on to the ball to save his life. Remember him on special teams?!

 

Sankey has been out in space since we drafted him

 

Our GM has done a bad job if Cobb, Sankey, Andrews aren't fighting it out for the #2 RB spot. Their are too many proven vets that are going to hit the FA market this yr. FA RBs are cheap compared to most other positions. Use our cap space on the cheaper positions and draft the more expensive ones.
