Rumor Josh McDaniels Wants the Titans HC Job

Yeah don't think the GM is an issue here though...the team already said they are going with whoever they feel gives the best chance to win. It doesn't matter the order, what they think is most important is the two guys work together than anything else...

Who should he have drafted instead? He had no QB and his trade attempts fell through. Does he go thru the season without a QB like Bill obrien did last year with the Texans? He already hit a home run with denarius Thomas a few picks before Tebow in the first rd. It was an extra pick. Why not take a chance on whoever you thought was the next best available QB?

Nevertheless it's a moot point because he won't be GM here.

 

I take this as really positive news. A guy other teams want comes out and says he wants the HC job here. It could be a lot worse like Cleveland where no one wants to be mentioned or linked to that place.

 

Agreed, but isn't Gase and Jackson 1st time HCs? Let's be fair...as first time HCs there is risk that they could become overwhelmed with the extra responsibilities of being a HC. I'm not saying it's going to be the case, just pointing out the fact that it is a risk.

In my opinion I would rather give a guy a slight edge who has done it and failed once over someone new. Now in saying that if you fail twice in my opinion you shouldn't be on our list to interview...

I hear you but he couldn't win in his QB situation. There were no winning scenarios available. He was going to lose if he kept Cutler, or traded for Mallet, or didn't draft Tebow, or did draft Tebow. None of those QBs were going to be successful. That's why we are very lucky to have an answer at QB and probably why he wants to come here.

 

The Pats fans should realize that this a side effect of being a dynasty level football team. Every other team wants all of your coaches.
