I fully expect , on the day , one of Cleveland , San Francisco or Dallas will offer a trade to get what they want. Now that Ruston isn't here and a salient GM hopefully will be , it will be that we'll take them up on their kind offer.

I'm happy with a second from the trade for Sean Payton. I also think that Laserjock has a point with Manziel. JJ is that dumb.

Kudos to PK for telling it how it is at the moment unlike others who are now organization-pieces. While we are at the bottom of the cycle we MUST find a new and better direction.

 

I am convinced La Conforna just likes to irritate people. His latest tweet about probably hiring Beddingfield and Mularkey has no basis in fact. I assume since he is the one who started the Titans are for sale stuff, the team tells him very little. He is like the kid who couldn't play sports so got on the school newspaper to stir things up. I think if you stir the crap pot you ought to have to lick the spoon.

hes essentially saying what Underwood said, just masking it as if he has some inside info. Underwood said in his presser on Monday they had internal GM and coaching candidates, and specifically Mularky would be considered. LaConforra tries to be like Schefter, but the only inside info Lacoforra has is espn.com

What incentive is there to move up 1 spot?

They know we wont steal their next QB. Sure San Fran could leapfrog them and steal their guy out from under them but TBH none of these QB's in this class are much to go crazy for... IDK that anyone ever calls us to make a deal.

 

DeCosta was a long shot anyways.

 

The fact that this is a weak QB class though may play to our advantage. As of now (things change a lot in the months leading up to the draft) there is really only 1 QB that is being viewed as worth a high pick. And there will be anywhere from 2-4 teams that could use a QB (Cle, SF, Dal, Stl). Supply and demand is on our side.

CLE may very well trade up to ensure that SF or someone else doesn't jump ahead of them, because there is no 'plan B' in this draft.
