Would Payton be a good fit for thew Titans

Payton would be a good hire. The thing is the 2nd round pick they want. We have the 1st overall pick and our 2nd round may as well be considered a 1st.

In the stages of us rebuilding, I wouldn't trade for Payton. If he was a free agent, different story.

Hopefully we land Hue Jackson. He would be the best fit I can think of. He had the Raiders at 7-4 before they traded for Carson Palmer. He sucked it big time and they went 8-8 and lost a tiebreaker with Denver.

Considering the bad the Raiders bung every year, I'd say that was really good.

He got fired one year. They would be playoff bound by now with Jackson staying.

McDaniels isn't bad but I rather him a cordinator than coach.

Has Payton expressed interest in Tennessee at some point? I don't think I would trade the first pick in the 2nd round for any coach, especially when we can't guarantee they even want to be here. I would imagine he would want to be somewhere with ownership that's a little more stable. No go on that trade.

To high of a pick for him .....4th or 5th then sure....
way to high ...we pick way to high to just throw away talent ....we need talent
We can get him but but with no talent on this roster we are still the same old team ..yes coaching is needed but we need player upgrades at so many spots .

 

No use in getting Sean Payton if we have to trade picks so he can have no talent to coach.

 

We need Bill Cower. Maybe Lebeau can talk him into it...
