The Mett Show

Offense looks a lot worse when Mett's in there. Tanny just one week with the team made some plays and some nice throws today. Proves Mett can't even do the fundamental things as an NFL QB.

We may have had a chance today if Mett was pulled a lot earlier in the game. The Mett show is just plain ugly football and difficult to watch.

 

I think it is clear the Titans never had any intention of going with Mett as starter this year.

 

dont act like it was just a few fans who thought mett looked very good last year, many analysts said he looked like the real deal too. I dont buy he just forgot how to play ball.

 

Of course not lol, his tape speaks for itself

 

I have to defend the reputation of my Baylor boy Cody Carlson. He was 10-4 as a starter when he was Moons backup ( I.e. He started in 14 games when moon was hurt). He was also very effective when he came in as relief for Moon. For example when we lost that 32 point lead to buffalo I was screaming at the tv for them to put Carlson in to try to stop the bleeding. He didn't struggle until the 1994 season after they let Moon go and Cody became the full time starter. In that season he went 1-4 and suffered a season and career ending injury in the 5th game. So he was 11-8 overall as a starter vs Mett who is 0-10.

 

Tanney's play just removed all excuses for Mettenberger. Can't blame it on the WR's, the OL or coaching. He's just miserable to watch and I think the team just packs it in, mentally, when he's on the field.

 

Imagine if you were the QB, that's what the team feels when they look over and clown face is there calling the huddle,,they all know they have no chance with him

It's both comical and terribly sad at the same time that someone like mett could play in an NFL game

This team needs new coaches oh so badly

 

Yep, Carlson was light years ahead of Mett, no comparison at all.
