Do people forget Chip Kelly took over a 4-12 Eagles team (12-20 in last 2 seasons) and won 20 games in 2 seasons with an aging Mike Vick and NICK FOLES Quarterbacking?

Even with Sam Bradford, he's got him having a career year. His Rating is up, his completion percentage is up, his Touchdowns Per Game is up, Yards per game and attempt are both up.

I find it hard to see any scenario involving a Chip-Mariota combination where Mariota doesn't perform at an elite level and this team isn't in the playoff picture within 2 seasons.

 

Didnt Murray out rush all of them the year before? Plus hes younger than them.

Giving a guy 390+ touches in a season is basically a curse

 

Ignorant statements............it took all of 2 years to figure him out. Defenses game planned for it and could take advantage of it. In the pros you don't have enough defensive players to stay fresh for the whole game when you go 3 or 6 and out all the time.

Also it can't help that none of your players want to play for you because you don't know how to treat them. Let him go back to college to the boys and let the man's game alone.

 

JCB why would you say Murray was "far from best available"? In 2014, Murray led the league in rushing and he was younger than everyone you mentioned. Here were the 2014 NFL Rushing Yards with their ages:

Murray - 1845 yds, 27 yrs old
Gore - 1106 yds, 32 yrds old
McFadden - 534, 28 yrs old
Forsett - 1266, 30 yrs old

How was Murray not clearly best available running back in free agency that year?
