I made a bet.

It was an unusual bet that I made during the off season. A friend made the comment, "We finally have what we need to make the playoffs". I was stunned and made the comment that Vanderbilt would win more games! He asked me if I was joking and, "where's the love?". The "love" is there but it's a realistic love. The 'bet'; $10.00 says that Vandy wins more games than the Titans inside the college playing calendar year.
My friend laughed and said, "Make it $50.". Fifty it is.
Well, he came over yesterday and handed over a nice new Grant and he was not to happy about it. Obviously pissed, he asked how I figured it out. Laughing and suffering from a paper cut I recieved while taking possession of the Grant, I said, "Let me ask you 4 questions..."
"Who owns the Titans?" He thought for a minute and said, "One of Buds daughters."
"So you don't know who owns them?" No response.
"OK. Who's the head coach?" His eyes lit up and said, "Mularky, we fired our coach." I replied, "He's the interim head coach. Technically, we don't have a true head coach."
"OK. Who's the CEO?" He had no clue. I said, "Again, technically we don't have one. We have Underwood whom also is an interim CEO."
"Final question, who's our starting RB?" At first he said Cobb but shook it off and, after thinking hard said, "That dude from Western Kentucky".
So he, just like a lot of Titans fans, has no idea who owns this cluster &$@%, no idea who the CEO is, no idea as to a future head coach and doesnt know who our STARTING running back is or if we even have one.
I'm not surprised I won the bet. What surprises me is, how did we manage to win 3 games?
One of the geniuses on 104.5 said that we needed team leadership. TEAM leadership? Theres no leadership anywhere to be found starting in the FO.
We are going to start the 2016 with a new head coach, a new CEO, (I hope), and hopefully a first round RB out of Alabama but still not knowing who owns this team. I might make the same bet next year.

 

We need a RB. With this FO, there's no telling who our 1st rounder will be. Regardless, if we don't do something about these assistant coaches, we are in trouble. I think we have players on this team but they're not being coached. Too many players are let go only to end up shining on other teams. In some cases, wearing Super Bowl rings.

 

My bet was that Vandy would win more games inside the college regular season which is over. Vandy won 4, we won 3.

We will get the first pick of the draft after we loose against Texans and Colts.
You mentioned we need better OL in the draft. I think most of our problem with the OL is coaching, not personnel.
