When I talk about Mariota and his intangibles, being Clutch is one of them. I think he is a winner.People talk about how quiet he is. He has a quiet confidence. You can be quiet and be clutch. You can be quiet and be a leader. One of the greatest clutch players and silent leaders of all time was Isaiah Thomas of the Detroit Pistons in the late 80's I dont think Marcus is quite as dirty and I'm pretty sure he is more likeable. But you get the idea. Put some talent around him and see what happens.

 

Put talent around him, and we will win a lot of football games! I for one am waiting for that to happen. So nice to have a QB finally, even if I hated the pick. My eyes tell me we are on the way.

 

Listen... I love Mariota, he's definitely our guy and has a bright future ahead of him if this organization can get their **** together. But clutch QB, rookie records, and coining him as a superstar already is just... Well... Honestly bull crap. This guy is humble and just wants to win. That's all that matters at the end of the day/season for the Titans. Nothing that none of us didn't know... But c'mon, both of these "clutch" games came when we were basically out of contention. Where was this clutchness against Indy... Buffalo... Atlanta... Jags first time around... Etc, etc, etc... I honestly hate that the only thing we have going for us is to brag about how good Mariota is/going to be.... Meh happy Friday y'all.
