2016 FA Targets

Do any of y'all remember how it felt to win? I am being serious here. It has been so long. These things do not affect me like they used to, but I remember just feeling better and having a "better" week when the Titans were winning. Coty Sensabaugh and his peers are the reason we are losing. It is from the top on down, and the only real positives this year for me have been watching the Pineapple do his thing. RW has to go this year in order for me to hold anything more for our plight. Having another shot at a real playmaker gets me a little excited, but I have no faith in having our current management change things around. Our secondary is s*%t! Fix it...... we can start with Ramsey!

This should be the focus of free agency. We cant seem to develop WR's at all, so lets pay for one whos already on the top of his game and coming into his prime at the perfect time.

Then Id add another Tackle to anchor the OLine.

CB should be addressed in the draft.

Al Woods, and Antonio Andrews are our only 2 FA worth re-signing, so we should have tons of room to pay Jeffery with.

 

We need to upgrade the inside LB position that has to be done in FA.

I think Sean Richanson could be a great pick up if don't pick a safety in the first.

 

Hmmmmm..... I think the Jets MUST focus on Wilkerson so we could sign Damon Harrison away from them for our nose tackle and still resign Woods for rotation and depth, greatly upgrading our D-line. Then target Tashaun Gipson at free safty and finally cut ties with Griffin, that will save a bit of money and get younger. Do our best to sign Alshon Jeffery, he fits our larger WR mold and might be a lot of money, but would really help Mariota and would be a great teacher for DGB.
That would leave us able to pick up a few mid level free agents. We could trade down in the first and still get OT and CB with our first two picks.
Titans get Younger, and better in front 7, secondary, WR, and o-line.

But really it is all up in the air till we see who our head coach will be and what offense and defense schemes he will run.

 

I would love to sign him too but top receivers like that just never actually hit FA. They will either sign him or tag him.

 

Craig Stevens and Al Woods only guys on that list I would consider keeping.
