Mariota naysayers, why you still naysaying?

he's the real deal.. its nice to see more than -1 TDs by a QB consistently

hope he stays healthy and keeps slicing n00bs

 

Mariota is who I wanted all last season. But as th draft drew near, I became more and more intrigued about trading the pick since we severely lacked talent all over the place. But as I posted before the draft, I really felt there was no way I'd be disappointed no matter what the choice was. Our options were basically, Mariota, Leonard Williams, or we'd trade out of the pick. So glad that we took Mariota.

 

I love this. We have a rookie QB, that no one can deny is headed for stardom and you are worried cuz he has ONE THING TO WORK ON?

 

I wouldn't have thought the kid would progress as quickly as he did. I am stoked that we have our guy if he stays healthy. I love it!

That doesn't mean he still doesn't have a lot to work on.

I think that's something most Mariota fans don't get. He still warrants criticisms...

 

So with a bad supporting cast and bad coaching, mm has 3, 4 td games. Im just wondering, with a good staff and good players around him, what will he do? The guy might hit 60 tds in a season. He is an exceptional talent.

 

Mariota might actually have a chance against the Pats with how they are playing right now. Honestly the guy is going to be the best thing to happen to the Titans in a looooong time.

 

To all of the negative Mariota haters, just sit back and think about this for a second. Look at his stats and what he has done his ROOKIE campaign, with essentially, no running game, crap receivers, a swiss cheese line, and a shaky defense. Add in, a fired head coach while you're at it. Now, check the stats....6% higher completion percentage than Winston, 2 more td's, 2 less Interceptions, and a higher QB rating....and no Vincent Jackson or Mike Evans, or Safferian Jenkins....Dude is the truth. God help people if he gets some talent around him.

 

2 less games played too. I'd still love to see us get a franchise receiver. watching the stealers receivers is a thing of beauty... unstoppable. imagine if we had either AB or Bryant.

As much crap as DGB has been getting he showed flashes of greatness yesterday. props to him for coming back after that huge mistake and showing determination.
