You guys are acting like the Bucs had The Greatest Show on Turf waiting for Winston. Mike Evans is a young player who has yet to realize his potential. Vincent Jackson has one foot out of the door.

Martin is pretty nice to have. Probably getting a big benefit from Winston airing it out though.

But yea, other than Evans (dropsies), Murphy, and old VJax, i think its all UDFAs behind them.

Not saying that they are the greatest but compared to our squad they might as well be. Our wrs can't even get open enough to drop a pass

 

If Mariota plays well for the remaining four games I don't see why he wouldn't get it. He has the highest redzone QBR of anyone in the league, has a higher completion percentage than Winston, has a higher QBR than Winston, has more TDs than Winston, has less INTs than Winston, and I think he has more rushing yards (but not as many rushing TDs). Winston has... more wins. That's about it.

Furthermore, what with the NFL facing an image crisis, I kinda feel like they'd prefer Mariota win it over Winston.

But, again, Mariota has to continue to play well going forward.

Amari Cooper has a bunch of drops too...

We'd be so much better with either Evans or Cooper.

Give Winston the likes of Hunter, Douglas, and DGB, and I don't think he'd be doing as well.

I was a Winston supporter, wanted us to take him and considered him to be much better than Mariota. But I think Mariota has been better. And I think you have to give him the edge based on the H2H matchup between them.

Of course, Winston will probably win ROTY due to more W's. But if Mariota breaks the rookie TD record and doesn't get it, then **** everyone.

 

Instead of Luck and RG3 or Manning and Leaf they could end up being Manning (Eli) and Roethlesberger....... Both good.

I can't lose the idea that there is a character flaw that will sink Winston in time. Or atleast lead him to being inconsistent.

Like Jay Cutler for instance.
