I'm on the Hue Jackson train... Always has great offensive balance and keeps defenses on their toes formation wise, utilizes the TE well and is successful with a mobile QB. Now if he can just find a way to get production out of our WRs/RBs

Everyone on the hue Jackson bandwagon needs to remember, if the Bengals win it all this year Marvin Lewis is retiring, which means Jackson is a guaranteed lock for the job and he'd never come here.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Saints will not fire Sean Payton, but the team would be open to trading their head coach.

The Saints scuttling the idea of firing Payton does not necessarily mean they want him to stay around. Payton would be a hot commodity if he ever hit the open market, so it makes more sense for the Saints to attempt to get something in return rather than firing him outright. La Canfora reports the Dolphins are "very interested" in Payton, but every team with an opening this offseason would likely give the Saints at least a call. Payton has two years remaining on his deal.

I may be in the minority, but I think the idea of trading for coaches is stupid. Your team obviously sucks if you're looking to hire a new coach. And to give up a 1st or 2nd (which is probably the Saints asking price), is kinda counter productive. I like Jackson better, anyways. Gase a close second. I'm confident we'll be able to lure one of them here with what we have in place.

You would think someone like Jackson or any other potential HC candidate would want a team that has a franchise QB in place. We have to be at the top of the list of attractive teams.

Absolutely. We have a young franchise quarterback who has a relatively cheap contract for maybe 5 more years, a improving franchise LT, a solidish Defense, and a good amount of cap space, with room to create more. I can't see any other openings that would be as good as what Tennessee can offer.
