well either way, until they hire an investment banker to perform a financial analysis on the team, its all a rumor/wishful thinking...

The point of the thread is to discuss if our current management and coaching situations and draft status indicate we are in a prime position for sale or if it is simply coincidence etc.not that a sale is rumored or imminent perse.

Im going to say its a coincidence.. There is the idea Mariota was picked solely as a marketing tool, but since he's actually good at what he does Id say thats another coincidence also..

If the stadium were obsolete and we didn't just ink a 20-year deal with Nissan, then maybe Id say the writings on the wall, but I think you're just connecting dots that aren't exactly there...

NFL wants no part of some of those guys tho, say its closer to 200 (if that)

Potential owners are a tight niche group

I'd be with you if they'd left Whiz in place.

Unless they thought Whiz was going to get Mariota killed, thus, costing potentially a lot more than $15 million in lost value to the franchise.

I actually think Whiz got cross threaded with Strunk/underwood on that very issue. I recall a few articles that referenced Whiz's resistance to max protect Mariota at the Texans game as a reason he was fired. IIRC one author suggested that directive came from Strunk.

Owners were on the sideline pre-game yesterday. They might be there for the Jags game. Put your offer in an envelope and hand it to Amy next Sunday.

As long as the team stays in Nashville I do not care who buys it. Amy Adams Strunk has been at every game according to PK. I myself am a private person; of course I'm no where near a billionaire either. Even if I was you would not see my mug on TV every time something went wrong. That's why you hire CEOs & GMs. That being said our CEO & GM have done piss poor jobs addressing the issues with this team. Webster was not even included in the press conference about Whiz.

I agree with you. I am praying that we clean house in the FO. Underwood has been very underwhelming, and Webster; well he is just a joke. I am ready to see what a real football mind can do with this team. It has been years since we have seen a draft where we actually addressed needs appropriately; and did not waste at least one or more picks.

Amazing! Over a year with no home victory..... Hell teams with no wins get their win in our house! So tired of that. Was it the winless Colts that secured a win at home to keep us out of the playoffs? It's been so bad that I have a hard time remembering.
