The first happened right in front of me. Mariota was staring at the spot he threw the ball and the guy covering Douglas just stopped covering him and was in perfect position.

I don't know if Wright gets to that ball even on a dry surface.

The last one, I don't know.

The Titans got plenty of calls too. I was talking to a Raiders fan about how the zebras must of thought we were all sitting in the rain to watch them instead of the players.

As for Cox, he whiffed on an open field tackle which cost the Titans four points.

I get what you're saying and I agree. However, if Sensabaugh does not give up 2 TDs we still win.

I will be interested to read Mularkey's comments after they hit the team site.

On the last play Wright was getting held up as well, so I am not sure he makes the catch even if he keeps his feet.

Everyone needs to remember that we have a rookie QB here...and he will still make rookie mistakes IMO. He was staring pretty hard at that last spot as well if I recall correctly. I know that the MM apologists will find no fault with him (watched a couple bashing everyone but him all game long today in the GDT LOL), but I try to look at this realistically.

Bottom line is that Defense blew it IMO. We had them down and needed a stop. We let them get up the field, then there was that questionable call, but then we continued to let them gash us to get to the end zone. Questionable call or not, Defense blew this.

Look at TOP. It's unfair to blame the defense when they are on the field that long.

IMO, not being able to run the football is the main reason the Titans keep losing games.

35-25 Raiders. Yeah, they won TOP, but that is not ridiculous.

While I do agree with you that our running game is a big reason that we are losing TOP, I still think that the D should be able to make that stop at the end of this game. Wet field conditions should have helped them as well IMO.

I totally agree, but I will take it a step further. Our receivers can't get open either. Easier for other teams to game plan against the tight ends and not have to worry as much about the other skill positions.

isn't it their fault for not getting themselves off the field?

The Titans got 41 yards on the ground today. That's why they lost the game.

Some of it. But the offense has to put together some drives.
