when Goodell moved the kickers up 5-yards I hated it because I heard it would eventually lead to the KO being removed from the game entirely. But now after seeing how poorly we execute that play I wouldn't mind at all if we could just skip it.

KR's are fun to watch if you have a KR specialist, we dont and its been holding us back quite a bit... Wonder where the competition committee stands on the KO these days..

I agree with that, but PR is just as much of any issue in my opinion. Either way this has to be an area of focus moving forward. Our special teams is more of a liability than almost anyone talks about. There is nothing better than having your team back against the wall and a player has a big return energizing the team. This happened against us twice this year already with the Browns and the Panthers. Fortunately, the later was called back for a block in the back. Nonetheless we need way more production from our returners.

those 2 floating games are generally vs AFC opponents with the same division ranking as the Titans... The NFL could possibly change their formula for teams schedules but as is now, we wont see Tampa again for a long time..

Hmm I thought the 2 floating games was 1 AFC and 1 NFC. But I'll take your word for it.

If you look at all our previous schedules you'll always see 4 NFC games, every year we rotate around the league. Last year we played all of the NFC East, this year is the NFC South, next year it'll be the NFC North, and so on til we play all 4 divisions..

This is the textbook argument posed by people as a last resort. Like the QB is solely responsible for the team winning. Football really is the ultimate team sport, it's obviously not just the QB on the field responsible for winning, everyone with half a brain knows that. But many people just throw up the "he has more wins" BS, it gets annoying. Eli Manning has made a career and a boat load of money riding this argument.

By that measure Russell Wilson is one of the top QB's in the league, correct? His team just wins right? Well Wilson is just 2-14 in games where Seattle gives up 24 points or more! I can argue that Seattle's defense is just as responsible, if not more so, for wins than Russell Wilson.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: QB's get too much credit when a team wins, and too much blame when the team loses.

I believe the 2 other games pit you against teams that placed the same in their division. 2nd vs 2nd, etc..... in the same conference.

But I do agree that the NFL is all about money and the matchups that bring that in. Somehow teams (Manning/Brady) seem to play more than they normally would.

Its because the Pats and Colts/Broncos always win their division.
