I'm pretty sure we all spend too much time on this website. Weak shot. Glass house etc etc.

JCB with the "Bridgewater is great and is at the top of his game and doesn't need to improve much." Well, Mariota must be HOF status because he's outplaying Bridgewater and is a rookie. Mariota has plenty to improve on.

In my opinion, Carr is the most legit 2nd year QB. He's stepped his game up a lot from last year. The addition of Cooper made that possible.

That's why I'm almost leaning towards wanting a legit #1 WR in the draft. These 2nd round project WRs probably wont pan out for us.

If there is a talent available similar to that of Amari Cooper or Julio Jones. I would agree. Is there another big time talent on Alabama at WR?

I made this thread because I wanted to show the what we might expect from MM going from year 1 into year 2.

What I see is really 3 completely different cases for the 2nd QBs this year.

1st you have Bortles, who has shown about as much improvement as you could realistically expect from a 2nd year QB. He is by no means great, but he is starting to show signs of improvement and development.

2nd you have Bridgewater, who has shown zero improvement. Not surprising because, while he is a good QB, no one really considered his ceiling to be that high and was pretty much polished coming out of college already ... he just doesn't have the capability to improve too much more (probably why he dropped to the 32nd pick)

3rd you have Carr. He has shown a HUGE amount of improvement. Partly due to his development, and partly due to the weapons his team has surrounded him with.

So, when I look at MM this year and compare him to the other QBs from last year I see a QB that is ahead of the curve already, but yet still has a lot of room for improvement. That gets me very excited for his future.

With MMs work ethic, at the very least we should see as much improvement from year 1 to year 2 as we have seen in Bortles. Since MM is already shown to be ahead of the curve for young QBs, adding some improvement like that from year 1 to year 2 would put him in the upper echelon of QBs

On the other hand, if we can surround him with some talent (legit WR threat and running game) like Carr got in Oak, then we could see MM really explode next year into a top 5 QB in this league.

So the reason I made this thread is because I AM DAMN EXCITED ABOUT MY QB'S FUTURE.

You have a problem with that?

Did I want for this thread to turn into a Winston vs MM vs Mett vs Teddy debate? ... no. I generally wanted to highlight how our future looks bright.

Did I know this thread would turn into a Winston vs MM vs Mett vs Teddy debate ... I knew it from the moment I hit the "create new thread button"

You see, there is this syndrome associated with being a Titans fan. You can't think or say anything positive about any player on the team without other people jumping in to say they suck. Or comment on how many other players are better, or who they would rather have. Its not enough for the Titans to have a good player with promise.

I guess it just has to do with all the losing we have done over the last decade. Whiz was right, we do have a losers culture and loser mentality around here.

I would consider Bortles another Ryan Tannehill, same for Carr, well TBH IDK about Carr, I dont care enough about Oakland to ever watch them for 3 hours. But when a guy goes from average to solid in a year it means he's learned a lot in that time. Certain guys are pro ready day-1 and wont learn all of what others never knew. You like trolling me about Bridgewater, you know thats partly what made you think recycling a topic from last week was good thread material..

You troll 520 all the time this way about his favorite QB.. Now me too...
