    That's because they're stupid.

Fisher is already getting top-five money, has 100% support from the school president, and has gotten every facility upgrade he has ever asked for, including an indoor practice field.

Not to mention he is currently going through a divorce and would need to move away from his sons to take the LSU job.

He isn't leaving any time soon unless the program declines.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him leverage this into a little bit of a raise though.

Alright now.. Youre setting yourself up for a big ole bowl of crow.

I dont particularly care one way or another but there have been strong indications Fisher is headed to LSU. It aint just speculation either..

    I would be very surprised.

He's gotten everything he could ask for at FSU; support(from both fans and administration), money, and infrastructure. He brought that team back from obscurity. The hard work is over, now it's just about recruiting.

The only reason to go is to just get out of FSU. Leave a place where 85% of the fans and all of the administration has his back to go a place where winning 78% of your games and a national title gets you fired.

I don't think he's a lifer, but it doesn't make much sense to leave right now. What reason could there be that I'm missing other than he was LSU'S OC?

Doesn't make sense to me either. His response to the question about the LSU job didn't seem too reassuring that he wouldn't take the gig though. If he wasn't interested you'd think he would have flat out said he was staying with FSU.

That would kill his negotiating power. His agent is Jimmy Sexton. He knows what he's doing.

I think the only job he would leave for right now is Bama. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go when Saban retires.

Didnt Fisher have some issues getting FSU to open the wallet for a minute? Isnt there some history there?

I thought they just redid his contract last year. I wouldn't think he'd push to get it another one.

I think the indoor practice facility was a little contentious, but it got done. Facilities have been totally overhauled. Stadium upgrades coming for the 2016 season.

I mean, he's sitting behind Saban, Harbaugh, Stoops, and Meyer as far as pay is concerned. So it can't be money. He and Thrasher(school president) are tight. The AD was brought in after Fisher was hired, so I would assume the AD was on board with things before he took the job.

Unless he just prefers Baton Rouge to Tallahassee and thinks the quality of life would be that much better, I can't think of a reason for him to leave right now.

Could be something like a larger pool for assistant salaries. Maybe a future "favor" to be named later.

I could be totally wrong, but I just don't think he(or any other coach) would leave a place when you have top facilities, top pay, and full support while being located in a great recruiting area.
