The 2015-2016 College Football Thread

I went and snooped around on some LSU forums and they seem to think they'll get Jimbo.

My assumption is that Dabo is probably going to hold out for the Bama job (Saban's contract is up in 2019, and if he can win one or two more championships I think he retires then, as he'd be knocking on 70).

 

Not a big Miles fan but I'm kind of surprised they're making this move already. However, LSU could be even more dangerous with an actual good coach. Because of their recruiting pipeline, they'll always have the top talent. Throw in a better coaching staff? The West gets even more interesting.

 

Yea, Zeke seemed REAL broke up about announcing his retirement from OSU in the post game

Im also a little broken up about this.. Miles is the perfect fit for Arkansas at LSU xD

 

He had a pretty somber tone through the whole thing and Meyer said Zeke had previously let the team know he would be declaring.

I think Meyer handled it right. Knowing it was an emotional time for Zeke and not suspending him but letting him know that wasn't the place to voice his opinion no matter how correct his opinion was.

Glad to hear the players saying it hasn't affected the locker room and said it was resolved first thing Sunday.

 

Saban vs Jimbo for the next few years? Yes please.

 

Of course thats what they say. Well see whether or not thats true this week. Seemed pretty poisonous to me

 

yeah Missouri was supposed to be all fired up for their HC and laid an egg

 

Nebraska needs to beat Iowa in order to be bowl eligible. Not a walk in the park for Iowa.
