I never said he was a good coach. I actually think the opposite. History shows that a coach like Miles would be a candidate for most of these openings though. That's why someone like Weiss got another HC job and he didn't even come close to the success of Miles.

 

No no, that's not what he meant. He clearly meant that Miles will have his pick of the openings that want him, and he doesn't even think that, he just thinks that other people think that.

At least, I think that's how directly catching 8and8 in contradictory quotes works.

 

I think he has his pick of the current openings other than Southern Cal. Current openings are S. Carolina (Lost to THE Citadel LOL) Miami, Mizzou, Hawaii, ULM, Illinois, North Texas, Maryland, and UCF. I think all of those programs will reach out to Les Miles if he gets canned this year.

Again I've never said he was a good coach. I certainly wouldn't want him as a coach but he turned OkState around and then had success at LSU. Do I need to make a pie chart for you or make a powerpoint for you guys to understand.

I'm not sure it matters because I don't think he gets fired until next year.

 

They lost to The Citadel. They've already set themselves back from where they were just a couple of years ago.

South Carolina is not an attractive job.

 

Florida barely survived 2-8 Florida Atlantic in OT and South Carolina lost to The Citadel.

Who knew SEC's annual Chickensh*t Saturday would actually produce a couple of good games?

I actually agree with you on both fronts on this. Les isn't a good coach (I thought he was a DC first; was shocked to read he was an OC). And I don't think LSU and Ole Miss are all that great. Quite frankly, I think it's obvious that the SEC hasn't lived up to the hype the last three years.
