Cobb is Andrews with a second gear at worst. That second gear could come in handy

Ill agree he has a gear AA doesn't, but if he's too busy getting tackled at the LOS what good is 3rd gear?

AA has good vision, good pass pro, good hands, finishes his runs... Other than a lack of speed he's the real deal..

Teams only average 94 yards a game against the Jags.

Antonio averaged 5.2 yards a carry and got 78 yards on 15 carries. Take away the one long run of 28 and he averaged 3.6 yards a carry. He would have easily gotten over one hundred if they gave him 20 to 25 carries like he should have. Personally I feel like they need to feed him the ball more. I don't give a crap that he isn't the fastest, we have had fast backs before. I want a back that eats up chunks of yards and puts us in third and manageable positions which Antonio routinely did.

With a good OL, andrews would be fine. He could be a workhorse type of back that is going to pickup 4-5 yards per carry, and break off a couple of decent runs per game. Enough to keep drives alive, situations manageable and a D honest, and thats fine with me. We just need a game changer at WR to pair with MM.

Hence why I said "with a good offensive line"

I just dont see him being a feature back. 10 carries a game suits him fine.

He will never be a CJ2k or anything like that ... I guess I just don't think we need to be a team that 'features' the running game. With MM at the helm, the game should run through him. We just need a reliable RB that can pick up chunks of yards on 1st down and keep the D honest ... at least that is my vision of the team.
I think AA can do that.

Not saying we couldn't upgrade from AA, its just not on my priority list. To me, it looks like this:

    1. OL
    1a. WR
    2. CB
    3. S
    4. RB

I would be fine if we could address 1-3, keep AA and address RB next year.
