It's really this simple guys. It doesn't matter what you think. It doesn't matter what I think. It doesn't matter what members of the media think. It doesn't even matter what Cam Newton's actual intentions are. If the players and coaches of other teams feel it's disrespectful, then it's a problem. If he continues to make his opponents feel disrespected, they will find a way to punish him for it. That's not a good situation for Cam Newton, the NFL, or it's fans. It's a shame because I don't like the thought of banning celebration at all, but you give an inch and some people will take a mile. Cam is just enough of an arrogant attention whore to take that mile every time. Again, the only thing that really matters is how the opposing players and coaches feel about his antics.

No. Cam takes it much farther than Aaron Rogers ever has. Cam has to do an elaborate celebration every time he gets a first down. It's true that others celebrate, but not like Cam Newton does. That's why it's him we're talking about. What other QB would have gone into that kind of extra long celebration and then continued to dance just to piss off opposing players that had voiced their displeasure with it? None of them. Just sayin. We're talking about Cam celebrating because he feels the need to do it more often and with longer and more elaborate celebrations than anyone else. Certainly more than any other QB ever has.

You're right about that in a way but you're wrong about the bigger picture. It does matter what you think, what I think, what the media things. The NFL does not care from a moral standpoint about domestic violence AS MUCH as they pretend they do. Players have been smacking women around for years I'm sure. So whats the difference?

Yep, your opinion, my opinon, the media's opinoin.
Actually that makes a lot of sense. It would explain a LOT more if the hate wasn't so bad. Imagine if you see a guy get a speeding ticket for going 10 mph over and he gets no fine. In face he gets a cool nickname and prestige. But you were going 17 over and get a $1,200 dollar ticket. You wouldn't find that odd? Sure 7 extra mph is a lot but look at the fine difference!

Aaron Rogers rubs tds in oppositions face saying I'm the champ right. Cam says I'm superman and adds a dance and people want to see him dead. You can't just explain that away.

You are acting as if it's all about the TD celebration. It isn't. Cam does that stuff every time he gets a first down. It really is ridiculous imo. Never seen any QB behave like that regardless of race. I don't know anything about wishing him dead. That's crazy and horrible of people if it's happening.
