Pre-Game Thread Titans @ Jaguars

It's sad but true - if I could pick one roster the Jags or Titans - id take the Jags as long as Mariota could come aboard.

I like those 2 receivers mentioned, Yeldon over any damn back we currently have and their defense is being built up as it seems.

I'd like Delanie Walker and our TE situation better of course but besides that and keeping Mariota I don't see much more areas the Titans are better in terms of roster buildup - and Bortles seems to be improving and a much better face of the franchise than Gabbert was ...

Them getting Dante Fowler Jr back as well as that top 10 or so draft pick next year does pain me as well ... They seem to at least have a direction and dare I say - Am I starting to get somewhat jealous of the freaking Jacksonville Jaguars?! Ugh

 

Drafting shouldn't be too much of an issue now that we have found our guy under center. Positions of need, best player in draft etc...... Past drafts have seemed like we were searching for identity. However, I think we have finally found that with MM.

 

I have to ask....why the NFL put these two teams on TNF? I mean I am a realist, other than MM and maybe a couple of other guys I doubt the average fan outside the south could name 5 titans or Fags.

 

Two young QB's Mariota Bortles. I expect a shootout. Jags have been playing good football offensively this year, Titans D has been surprising. Jags have scored at least 20 points in every game except for 2 while titans have top 5 d in yards per game.

 

Jags have Allen Robinson(2nd round pick) Allen Hurns(undrafted); both are playing better than anything the Titans have right not.

We took Sankey over Robinson. Great job Ruston.

 

Because every team has to have a prime time game.

I'd imagine that a Thursday night game right before the holidays kick off is the least watched game, not to mention you get two 'boring' teams out of the way in one go.

They know what they are doing.

 

Only way is if Andrews busts one for 80 yds than gets 23 yds on the next 17 carries......

 

I know for sure this game was late last year too. I'm fairly certain this Titans/Jags Thursday night game has happened the last two years. Pretty much like "well, they both need to play, lets knock them both out at the same time."

Pretty stupid how we play them two out of three weeks though.

 

Didn't that happen last year also?

That needs to stop.
