    The guy that "instituted" the 40 in the first place did it to test how quickly a player could get down field for a punt or kickoff. It wasn't really meant to indicate how well a player will run on an offensive play.

    So, no... I don't give too much to that particular statline.

    40 yard dash is just about worthless when judging a RB unless they are a 2009 Chris Johnson who routinely ran 40 yards at a time.

    A 5 flat 40 yard guy can be an effective RB if he has a good burst and is a smart and decisive runner.

    I do see its validity for WRs though.

    when CJ fell down upon taking the handoff I was fine with that, not on him

    but when CJ fell down after the LoS ON HIS OWN, major issues

    I haven't changed how I want my football team playing... CJ was bad on top of bad his final years here

    His confidence is just shot, doesn't run with power or determination. Regardless, he still has talent (probably more than Andrews) just hasn't fit in with this team. There's a chance Mularkey benched him so he got his **** together.

    meant .07 seconds faster. Andrews is .07 seconds faster than lewan. Ya speed aint everything for a rb, but think about this. Hes extremely limited, like a QB with no deep ball.
