He's the perfect example of :

When he's winning he's a cocky jackass but when he's losing he's a big baby

He's the exact opposite of guys like the Mannings or Rodgers more even keeled QBs where you don't know if they lost or won during a press conference.

Newton's behavior was crass- rubbing a clear victory in the face of a struggling team's fans. This after signing a jersey for Steve McNair's son before the game. He's clearly talented and their team has earned their success, but for me it was pretty pathetic. It says a lot about a grown man when he takes joy in behaving that way. With that said, it's not Newton's fault our offense couldn't convert third downs in the second half. Carolina's defense was great today. It's not Newton's fault the Titans haven't managed to win at home in over a year.

The loss was unfortunately probable, but the outcome and taunting should be fuel for this franchise in the future. At Mariota's press conference he was a stand up professional- poised, on point and owning his mistakes. I have a feeling that if the outcome of the game were reversed that Mariota would have been equally as classy in how he handled himself. Karma is a *****, and I am sure there will be another day when these 2 teams meet again when the outcome will be very different. When that day comes I'm sure Marcus will quietly celebrate without any of the nonsense we saw from Newton today.

    1) They got ripped apart for it.
    2) They owned it. They didn't come to the press conference and say they didn't mean any disrespect and they were doing it to help children.

I was like Williamson at the game lol. Straight up. You don't do that in someone elses house. If I was playing I prob would've gotten tossed for open hand slapping the sh*t out of him.

Instead I was in the stands and could only tell the Panthers fans that they'd never win the Super Bowl.

I like Cam, he's a great player but that end zone celebration was low class.

Don't know who ripped them apart, but there's articles online where Lendale would never apologize for stomping the towel. A SIGNED picture of Bullock stomping. Maybe it's different cause the towel was stomped in our house, but just as CAM said, if you don't like it. Stop it.
