#1 Rush Offense against one of the worst Run Defenses and that is how they play us in this game. Lets be honest, Carolina has really nobody at WR but we have to make sure that Cam doesn't make plays with his legs.

    Titans - 17
    Panthers - 13

Oh, they will score. Probably more than 13. If Yoda is on his game he should be able to match them point for point. If our D can't get into cams head, turnovers will get us the win. Let's just hope that very few panther fans made the trip.

I actually do think we can match up well with them. Their defense is legit and Cam is playing very, very well though. We can't expect to have so many flags and dumb mistakes this week and still win.

I have to admit I'm kinda worried about Mariota in this one. Carolina is really getting after the QB. It's gonna be a totally different matchup for our OL than last week.

What scares me most is Josh Norman. A lot of good DBs are usually just glued to their receivers and take away half of a field.

Norman is so good at baiting QBs into bad throws. I hope Mariota looks at a lot of film so he doesn't make a mistake throwing it on his side of the field when he's trying to bait him into a pick.

Cox and McCourty and pretty much already ruled out of this game. I am aware Carolina doesn't really have many receiving options, but Wreh-Wilson and Sensebaugh have looked silly against sub-par players quite a bit this year.

Glad New Orleans was the first post-Whiz challenge.
We need to have realistic expectations here.

Well, our defense kind of matches up well in this game. Our CBs are banged up and there isn't really a WR that poses much of a threat. If the Titans can limit their run game and keep Cam in the pocket then there's a solid chance of keeping their offense in check.

Offensively, this is where I don't feel great. Carolina has a good defense and Josh Norman has been the best CB in the NFL so far this season, no Wright? I'm not liking our still somewhat raw rookie going against him. Douglas will have to work the slot and Hunter needs to pose a threat down the field. This is a game where Walker should shine again because I'm not seeing Mariota throwing well, at least on one side of the field.

This game basically comes down to if the Titans get a lucky bounce or not. This is a Panthers team that wins from capitalizing on mistakes that their opponents make. Offense can't turn the ball over and the defense can't give up any free points. Make Cam earn every yard he runs for and find a way to get the offense going. I don't think it will be a blowout but this may be a crushing loss.

    Carolina Panthers
Total Offense: #12 (358.9 yards per game)
Rushing Offense: #1 (142.2 yards per game)
Passing Offense: #27 (216.6 yards per game)
    3rd Down Offense: #28 (34% 3rd down percentage)
Scoring Offense: #4 (28.5 points per game)

Total Defense: #13 (350.0 yards per game)
Rushing Defense: #15 (108.4 yards per game)
Passing Defense: #12 (241.6 yards per game)
Passing % Defense: #2 (56.5% passing percentage allowed)
    TD Defense: #9 (18 TD's allowed)
    3rd Down Defense: #7 (35% 3rd down conversion)
Scoring Defense: #11 (20.6 points per game)

The glaring weakness in this undefeated Carolina Panthers team is their pass game and 3rd down efficiency. Unfortunately, they have a great rushing offense that does not match up well with the Titans mediocre rushing defense. The defensive strategy should be to heavily stack the box and spy Cam Newton. Titans have the #3 ranked passing defense, so they should be able to hold up as linebackers, corners, and safeties randomly blitz from all directions throughout the game. The ultimate goal should be to hit Cam and make them a one dimensional passing offense.

The Panthers defense is an all-around solid group that will pose a bigger challenge than the Saints worst ranked defense did last week. With the #2 passing efficiency defense, I wouldn't expect Mariota to repeat the performance of Week 1 or last week as the passing game will be hard to come by. It is imperative we establish a run game by using three tight end sets, and effectively utilize Mariota's running ability.

    Offense: Panthers
    Defense: Titans
    Special Teams: Titans
    Coaching: Panthers

This game will be closer than expected as Vegas currently has Carolina as the favorite by 4 points. People not familiar with the Titans will likely take Carolina due to Titans record, but I think this is a very close game in favor of a team that knows how to win.

    Prediction:
    Panthers 24
    Titans 23

Relax, Andy Dalton is not lying up at WR for the Panthers...
