Post-Game Thread Titans 34, Saints 28: Postgame

I haven't posted anything since 2012, but I come to these boards everyday and read the postings..and I tell you, today's win was the best one that we have had in years. I actually teared up at the end; today was incredible

Iceberg where's your boy at because we surely didn't need him.

 

We got what we wanted 0 sacks lots of running and play action.The Saints suck but its great to see our potential today.

 

MM really won this game TWICE with great drives

 

doubtful; he loves himself too much.

 

Orakpo played like a man obsessed, those penalties were bull though. Stupid refs.

 

I understand that this is only our 2nd win of the season and it was against a Saints team that's not like what we're used to seeing in the Brees era, but this was a big win today for the team. You actually saw emotion from the players on the field and on the sidelines. The players stepped up and proved they can be a better team than what their record indicated. Mariota came back and won a shootout against a HoF QB. We may only win another game or two and this season could get rough again but I'm proud of what I saw today. First time in a while we actually saw some of our moves pay off. It's great to see the young guys perform as well, makes the future look that much brighter.

 

So I followed the first coupla drives and thought, "...not worth following...Imma go run a sales call..."

Potential of players and coaches. Nice to see some common sense on the sidelines.

 

The one "not great" thing (in a group of a whole lot of great things lol) about dumping Whis is the potential loss of LeBeau as well. I very much hope that the next HC can keep him around. He did quite a bit with not much today IMO, and the D is playing with alot of heart this season.

 

Im not good with names but number 90... 37 and 24 on defense had great games against a REALLY good offense.They keep us in.
