Why is Iowa in the top 10? Replace them with Memphis. At least Memphis beat Ole Miss who beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Baylor hasn't played anyone so I don't understand that either.

Iowa did beat Wisconsin and northwestern om the road. The same nw team that beat standard who Iowa beat 40-10. Iowa's opponents have a higher winning percentage than any other top 10 team.

Iowa is simply not that good. They beat Wisconsin by 4 and they play no one. Beating a Pac 12 team is nothing to boast about this year either. This is why they need to go ahead and stretch the playoff to eight teams so there's no crying.

You are the one crying that Iowa doesn't belong in the top 10. I provided information that supports otherwise.

Iowa has a more impressive overall resume than Clemson.

If beating Stanford is nothing to boast about, what victories do you consider quality wins? Beating Georgia? lol.

Best case scenario for me is UF losing to FSU, Ole Miss running the table, and Bama winning out. Two two-loss teams in the SEC championship and a one-loss Bama. People will throw a ****ing fit when Bama is selected, and make no mistake, they will be selected.

if they put a one loss non conference champ Bama in over an undefeated power 5 conference champ, I'd be pretty salty about that one.

There won't be 4 undefeated conference champs(already 0 undefeated in P12), but I am and always have been of the belief that if you're not able to win your division, not your conference, but your DIVISION, there is no way you should be playing in the title game.

I said it when people wanted to give Michigan a second crack at OSU and when Bama got a second crack at LSU.

Why shouldn't they? Assuming Alabama wins out they will have defeated the other top SEC team in LSU. They beat Wisconsin, won at UGA and A&M, and won out the rest of the way. So the SECCG argument becomes invalid, everyone knows Ole Miss and UF aren't truly the best two SEC teams.

Honestly, surprised Alabama is at #4. Basically, if they win out they're in unless Florida goes on an absolute tear and avoids Bama in the SECCG. Then I could see UF jumping Bama in the top 4. Not getting the ND love. Clemson at 1 seems weird.

Who cares though, it's the first playoff ranking. We're already guaranteed a shake up after this weekend.

Then they should win their division.
