I don't rely on them for the news. Just want to see this particular presser. Don't even watch most of them but this one I do want to see.

To be fair, we haven't been in the redzone the last 3 weeks.

DGB got some redzone time with MM though

This firing should of happened when it was announced we had 4 WRs and 5 TEs. The writting was on the wall.

I'm don't think he ever had these players to lose. That isn't an indictment of the team. They've been working hard to succeed- but the result on the field shows that there has been a disconnect since he arrived here. Those players were working very hard to fit HIS scheme when he should have been tailoring his scheme to the talent he had. Bottom line, if the players you have can't execute what you've drawn up you go back to the drawing board. Coaches coach, players play, and there has been a lot of evidence to suggest that players that look bad in his system that we've let go of seem to do better elsewhere. Based on the press conference QB safety has been an ongoing topic behind the scenes. Hopefully Mularkey will fair better.

This move proves our ownership is more proactive, strong, professional, and involved than we thought. This is great news for the Titans future!

Also I love hearing how Amy made it clear to the coaching staff to protect the health of our franchise QB. I dont remember Bud Adams ever telling the coaching staff that. Maybe Amy will be an even stronger owner than her Dad.

Whis is going to be remebered for two things:

    1.)Drafting MM
2.)Having a team as close as you can get without winning more than 3 games in a two year span.

When I was watching, they were talking about how much talent is actually on the offensive side of the ball that has been horribly misused. They talked about allowing your players to get touches, get in a rhythm and grow with confidence. That Whiz never used his players to their strengths and how their lack of production is s direct result of his inability to get the most out of players.

I think Whiz has the ability to be a good OC, he's proven that at two spots. I think once he becomes fully in charge there is no one to reign him in and he is his own worst enemy.
