Whisenhunt Fired, Mularkey Named Interim HC

Been hearing Whiz was not a Ruston hire, it was a Tommy Boy hire.

So wondering if Ruston is going to get the benefit of the doubt.

 

So where are you guys seeing the presser?

 

Which is really something basic that any fool should be able to understand. Whiz is as arrogant as they come. He thought he had this amazing and infallible system and everyone should just fall in line and the wins would start racking up. But that's not what a good coach does. A good coach is adaptable and adjusts to the strength of his players. Whiz could have Leveon Bell on his roster and he'd still be swapping him out every play for scrubs. "Gotta keep those defenses guessing!"

 

It was all over TV earlier.

 

At the press conference he got a ringing endorsement but he wasnt even on podium. You had two guys that dont even have permanent jobs on the podium and webster hiding in the crowd. Pretty weak sauce by the Titans.

 

Bummer. I just found out about the firing about 30 minutes ago and assumed it was still breaking news. Any chance of catching a replay anywhere?

 

Ironically, only being 2 games back means the season might not already be over if they can turn things around and win some games. I didn't feel that way last night.

Part of me is thinking about picking up DGB to stash on my bench lol.
