I never thought they would fire Whis. Two games ago I was hoping for a mutiny in the locker room so it could happen.

So glad to be done with this turd. Seeing that RW wasnt at the press conference, I have very high hopes that were done with him too.

I guess I probably should have expected that some of you guys would be sexist idiots.

I already said this in the shoutbox, but I think they are waiting to see what Mularkey is able to get out of this roster before making a final decision on him. The fact that he wasn't at the podium and Underwood specifically said Amy will hire the next HC speaks volumes IMO.

If this looks like a different team with Mularkey at the helm I think they give Ruston the benefit of the doubt and he gets one more year. If nothing changes, perhaps they decide it's time to cut ties with the GM as well.

It's no secret I'm not Webster's biggest fan. But I think he can at least make a case for himself given Whisenhunt's terrible schemes, gameplanning, and player use. We have a 4th round pick who's barely getting the games. We have a 2nd round pick who wasn't being used until injuries forced it.* Whis threw a rookie guard into the starting lineup as a tackle. I mean, really, we don't even know what we have with this most recent draft class yet.

*I will completely acknowledge DGB's issues. But he is still the biggest red zone threat we have and for him to be so underutilized is unforgivable imo.

if DGB is so football stupid he can only run one route he needs to run that route 30 times a game

**** that. What other GM oversees three different head coaching regimes because the first two got fired? No more of this lame duck bull****. Start over ENTIRELY.

This whole process will be started over again in two or three years if Webster is retained.

I'm not accusing you of this idiocy, SDM, just stating why it would be the wrong course.

those big guys always run sloppy routes, thats why I dont like them, but if they learn how to play like Fitzgerald and Dez Bryant you gain an unfair edge, so sometimes you have to try

I agree with you. I just think with Whiz being so god awful I could potentially see him being able to buy himself another year with the ownership.

I'm going ahead and preparing myself for Ruston 2016. If that turns out not to be the case I'll view it as a pleasant surprise.
