Ray Horton is off the table. If he were a contender they would have tried him the rest of the year.

Don't forget we have a ton of $ as well. 2nd most in the league.

Hue Jackson would be great. If he was smart, he would keep Horton/LeBeau. The defense has played well this year.

Jeff is a .500 coach... Would love to see the titans at .500 though. lol

Still, I wouldn't want to see Fisherball back in Tennessee.

Yeah but there are plenty of minority coaches out there that are good candidates. Why waste an interview on him if you are just filling the rooney rule?

The same thing that makes the Rooney Rule needed.

    :)

...if we're being honest about it.

Exactly. Keep the defensive staff, bring in your own offensive staff. Let Horton/LeBeau keep working their magic... hopefully after we replace Griffin, find another starting CB, & continue to beef up the front-7.

All I know is...Is that I am excited to see this team utilize Mariota and actually use players that produce and sit those that do not. Whiz was absolutely terrible at this, and he also had zero emotion about wins/losses. That is unacceptable.

Chip Kelly will be towards the top of the list for obvious reasons, and he'll definetly have some interest with Mariota here.

Mike Smith is an interesting name as well. The winningest coach in Falcon history I believe. Seems like he drafted fairly well during his tenure.

    Adam Gase has been mentioned.

I don't think Sean Peyton will get canned as long as Brees is there in NOLA. But if he did, he's obviously your number 1 candidate.

Ben McAdoo is a name I like as well. He has really improved the Giants offense tremendously and he's very well respected around the league.

I'm surprised Chip Kelly hasn't traded himself to the Titans yet.

Not a sexy candidate but I would take a hard look at Dave Toub.
