Exactly....if he is going to b!tch about this, then go all the way and state what the problem is in his view. We are 3-20 for the past two seasons....that is not status quo territory....

 

McCourty isn't butt hurt like Cox about this firing.

I am so happy....This guy was beyond bad.....What a waste of time. At least now, we can implement and use guys and especially Mariota much better.

It was time. Whiz was beginning to have a "God" complex and it wasn't good. Add in the fact he hung Mett out to dry against the Texans, with Mariota returning the front office was worried about the face of the franchise going forward.
As far as Mularky, if you remember he is the guy who resigned from the Bills after 2 seasons because he didn't agree with the direction of the front office. The Bills brass actually tried to convince him to stay, but he didn't. You don't just give up a gig as a head coach unless it's really bad, maybe that says something for his character. As far as his time in Jax let's not forget Blaine Gabbert was his QB. I've said all along if Whiz was let go I was excited to see what Mularky and LeBeau could do, both have head coaching experience. With the defense playing as well as they have been, if the offense won't shoot themselves in the foot the Titans may just be competitive.
