Please- you're splitting straws. Trust fund kids live off their parents success as adults prior to their parents death. If the semantics are the problem, I'll take the term back. You're just bitchy this AM. It's obvious your sore about the current state of the franchise and you and I have argued for years about how this franchise was "dying on the vine". You've denied it and defended ownership repeatedly. I think we all see now how it's been playing out.

Bud built and invested in the Titans. It was his baby. His family are more interested in the businesses that they've put into themselves and seem to see the Titans as this time consuming distraction. That's a fair way to feel.

It just stinks for us as fans. This sort of thing has happened to several franchises before, and they suffer for a long time until they get good ownership.

Lol what in my posts are bitchy? Just cause someone doesn't agree with you that doesn't make them bitchy.

Again you are disparaging bud Adams kids and their families based on your pure speculation and guess on their lives. I'm saying people could do the same about you kid right, even though it's clear you feel different.

You can vent snd post whatever you want. I'm just pointing out the reality that you really don't know about their family business and who has done what. You also don't know what buds true plans were following his death. Who is being bitchy again?

Also, it is an oil family. It is absolute crisis time for them.

Bud had long enough before he left this mortal coil to get things all cued up. If something was left I am not convinced that this is the way Bud would have wanted it played out. Perhaps "they are just not executing" .... as Whiz would say.

Totally agree with this...I was critical of Bud at times as well, but I never once doubted his interest for the game and love for the team.

His heirs simply do not have that, and it is causing this team to implode IMO due to lack of strong leadership.

Thats exactly it, otherwise you would have seen someone step up from the get go. Instead, a year later we don't have any idea about what is going on.

Bud had more than money invested into this. He had pride and time. Everyone keeps clamoring for change, I don't even have to have that right now. When was it when Bud let the hammer down midseason and said if things don't shape up he was going to make changes?

Its just a gigantic disconnect, and I have a feeling it has something to do with more than just trying to sell the team.

Bud was clearly out-of-touch the last few years but he had a plan in place. Tommy Smith wasn't supposed to be a one-year thing. I think he was supposed to handle things until his grandson was ready to take the reins.
