I have a been a Whiz supporter but no more. Some of the most telling signs of the current state of this team can be seen in the interviews of Delanie Walker each week. This is the first week this season where he seems truly defeated. A couple of weeks ago he lashed out at fans for their lack of support at home games. I like Walker, but what does he expect. The sad part is he is a good player with one year left on his contract after this year. He will be on the first thing smoking out of town. The current situation is dire, on the border of hopeless. Firing the coach, giving up the playcalling duties, scraping the offense...whatever it takes there is no tomorrow. I just don't understand how this team, with some decent talent is this bad. The defense has done enough to win, but at the current pace that won't last much longer. A few more weeks of this and the margin of victory will start growing. I don't know if firing Whiz mid season is good for Mariota and his development, but at this point it can't get much worse.

I totally agree. It's obvious. Walker and McCourty would just as soon it be week 17 right now. Same question each and every week...I would be sick of it as well. Both are good players and deserve better than this. That's not to say they are without fault, but this seems to be more on the coaches than the players at this point.

 

Actually, that is not true. The Titans used to be the most feared team in all of the NFL (the most physical by far).

I question this myself.. surely guys like Walker, Cox, Orakpo, Morgan, Casey, McCourty care? I think Williamson, Lewan, Wright & Griffin care too, but I'm less sure of this..

Justin Hunter, Zach Brown, Blidi Wreh-Wilson & Coty Sensabaugh definitely don't care.
