I do think this is a bit overstated. Last season Locker was the man and Mett was just an add in. In both season's he was tossed into the fire without the opportunity Locker or Mariota has gotten with working with the first team for extended periods. I also don't think Mett is the problem out there today. If Tom Brady was our QB we would still suck.

 

What happened to @IceBurg ? I would really like to hear his take on the suckage that is Mettenburger...

mett is officially the worst back up in the league.

 

That honor still goes to Chris Mortenson's kid who played (Fish was big buds with Mort apparently) during the HOF game in 2009. But that was preseason I guess.

Seriously, I would not go there with Mett, especially given the O Line and coach he has...

 

So... I'm unable to watch, but... doesn't sound like I'm exactly missing the game.

The defense is playing well again

 

Not even close man. If brady was our qb we'd be up 10 or more right now and mm would have us tied at worst. Plenty of backups don't get first team reps and look at least decent. ****, manziel looks better than this fool when he plays and he's garbage too.

 

You're getting what you predicted. Awful football. I'm about to turn this mess off. They need to fire Webster and Whisenhunt, and then beg Floyd Reese to come back and get things fixed. Even on his worst day the team never looked this bad.
