Which Titans Head Coach?

Yeah, see, everyone considered him one of the top in the league but nobody ever bothered to ask why. Pundits local and abroad always said what a great coach he was all the way up until he quit, and then had trouble justifying their position when it came time to write their eulogies. Suddenly everyone saw what we had been saying for years. For me personally, his handling of the McNair/Volek/Collins situation showed me that he had reached his apex of arrogant incompetence. There may have been lots of contributing factors to that, but for whatever reason his leadership skills were in RAPID decline.

 

How did you get that post in your signature again, there is one I want to put in mine.

 

Thats the thing with Fisher, everyone considers him a "good coach".... unless he's coaching the team you love. Just ask Rams fans right now.

He has this uncanny ability to be talked up as this great coach despite being completely and totally mediocre. If it werent for the Music City Miracle..... which was an honest to god MIRACLE he wouldve been fired many years before he and the Titans "mutually parted ways". He wouldve been a great coach in the 70s or 80s. But the game passed him by and he was too arrogant and bullheaded to bother to catch up.

In haste I picked Fisher, but I actually would have picked Ken and because of one word: Mediocrity.

Fisher and Munch just stunk of it. every year 8-8. Every year, same old scheme. Sure some years we got to the post season but we always and ultimately were left high and dry.

I'm still sick of it and their schemes to this day. Give me Ken. Give me that bald bust every year so that we rack up draft picks, so FOs can fire and move on and not have to make hard decisions.

So that we can take another swing at another GM/Coach and hopefully get someone who knows what to do with the players we have.

Seriously, I hate having to invest my time in a season just to watch it fall apart in the final two weeks or in the wild card divisional round because our scheme is so our dated or because we just haven't had the ability to fill that last hole in our team that we desperately need every year.

It's much nicer to know a season is done with so I don't have to stress every Sunday about how crucial every win is for us. . I still watch and root, don't get me wrong, but when they lose it stings so much less.

 

I definitely see the point. Mediocrity never moves anything forward. But being horrible puts everything in turmoil. This will be the first year in a long time that I probably won't go see a game in Nashville. They would have to pay me, at this point.

 

definitely. Every team in this division is worse than mediocre. Munchak would likely have us in the playoffs this year. disgusting.
