Post-Game Thread Falcons @ Titans Postgame

Regardless of how the game went, Mett had the ball in his hands with under 2 min. to go and he threw a pick. He had a chance to orchestrate a winning drive and he **** the bed. That is why he is not the starter...period

 

I don't want the back up playing at all, really need MM8 out there, gives us the best shot to win. But if his knee is not heeled then rather see Charlie play over sorry Mett. 7 starts and same results with him, nothing.

 

I would actually not blame Whiz on this one. Mett deserves about 75% for making dumb decisions and not knowing when to take some juice out of his throws. The other 25% go to Wright and Hunter for not catching the football when they absolutely have to.
Note to Kendall Wright: If you cry to get more involved in the offense, maybe you should start with catching the damn ball.

 

I like how the Mett lovers are all about his arm strength yet say Mariota has a weak arm.

Maybe he has been throwing like that cause our receivers can only catch soft passes lol.

Hunter dropped a bomb and Wright couldn't bring in a dart throw at him across the middle.

 

I only got to watch the first half, but man Hunter and DGB are terrible. We need to stop drafting receivers on potential alone.

Mett needs to start every game from now on.

 

Didn't really think Whiz's play-calling was all that yesterday but Mett was really disappointing. He had some blocking for once and some semblance of a running game to keep the Falcons honest but spoilt it all by flinging missiles and making dumb reads. He can move a little now but really , that's about the only difference that a year further on seems to have given him.

I would genuinely play CBJ this week with a run focused attack led by Andrews and .... well ....Andrews and Andrews again seeing as Cobb is still unlikely to go. With no Foster and QB issues we stand a breath of a chance against the Toxins but it won't be with Mett at the helm. Yesterday was all that most rational posters needed to see.
