And sankey, and Locker, and VY, and and Roby, and Henry, and Pacman, and Britt, and Hunter and on and on and on.
However, the bigger problem is we seem to have no one who can evaluate raw talent and develop that talent into a good player. Bad combination.

However, the Fowler pick is not really a bad one.

He is not a bad pick at all......he is misused like many other players on the squad.....that's our problem!

Whiz forces square pegs into circles and vice versa....he keeps pissing us off by saying we are a better team after each loss?

After what 7 losing seasons in a row(?) I'm always shocked to see people defending our coaches and certain picks. Whether you like Fowler or not, it doesn't make sense to draft a FB in the 4th F'N round if you're not gonna use him!!!

Just pick up an UFA and the drop off will be marginal. Another typical awful pick where we could have used a bigger need IMO.

Sankey is still the worst. And people said on here hed rush for 1000 this year. All the Titans are doing w Mariotta and Mett is trotting them out to get hurt w line we've assembled. It's honestly really frustrating.

Doesn't really matter man, we do not have the ability to develop talent to perform at a high level. It would have been wasted regardless of the position. At least Fowler has some talent and the next HC can use him.

Fowler was a great pick. Whisenhunt is a terrible coach, he only needs an entire offseason to prepare for a game.

Fowler wasn't a great pick. When you have 4 WR's on the roster and two are projects, that's a bad pick.

Our top 10 LT didn't start last year but we go into the year with a 3rd round OT that was projected to be an OG in the NFL starting at RT? How the **** does that make sense?

We have 4 Javon Ringers at running back....

I'm not even going to get started on Griffin and our NB issues.

2-14 teams have bigger issues than FB and shouldn't be drafting a project player every year, let alone two in DGB and Poutasi.

My enthusiasm with the fowler pick has nothing to do with defending the coaching staff. This is a guy who can play/contribute at st and on o. He can play te, fb and hb. The coaches aren't using him right. Maybe whiz is using his typical rookie format with him (not playing him much in the first half of the season), but this was a great pick. We aren't seeing it now, but we will. It looks ridiculous now, but it won't later. And please stop referring to him as a 4th round fb, he is much more than that. Just because the draft profile or depth chart has him listed as such doesn't mean that's all he does. Yes, he was a part of horrible play call, but you can't put that on him. Other than the one bad play he's done well. With our history of draft picks, he's already ahead of schedule.

Not to mention that most of the starting FBs in the league were UFAs.

Top 12 FBs in the league:
    Jed Collins Undrafted
    Cory Harkey Undrafted
    Mike Tolbert Undrafted
    Jay Prosch 6th
    Will Johnson Undrafted
    John Conner 5th
    Jerome Felton 5th
    Marcel Reece Undrafted
    John Kuhn Undrafted
    Kyle Juszczyk 4th
    Bruce Miller 7th
    Henry Hynoski Undrafted
    Anthony Sherman 5th

Fowler was drafted, at the very best, a round too early. Unless he becomes the best FB in the league he was a reach.
